The Wandering Words
A monthly subscription that delivers three beautifully printed, clean stories straight to your mailbox.
It’s more than just mail, it’s a monthly invitation to wander through new worlds, one story at a time.
When does it begin?
We’re aiming to ship our first issue by October. If we’re able to get things moving sooner, we’ll let you know! From there, mailings go out at the beginning of every month, usually landing in mailboxes by mid-month.
What's inside each mailing?
Each month, subscribers receive an exclusively curated and beautifully designed bundle featuring three brand-new, clean short stories, typically ranging from 1,000–3,000 words, designed to be enjoyed in one or two sittings. Each mailing includes one story from each of the following categories:
HEADLINER – An EXCLUSIVE story from authors you already know & love.
WAYFINDER – A new story from the rising voices charting their own path.
INKLING – A new story from pre-published writers whose stories are en route and selected through a curated submission process.
What genres are included?
The Wandering Words features brand-new, clean short fiction curated for a wide range of readers. Each monthly mailing focuses on a shared genre or closely related theme, creating a cohesive reading experience within that issue while allowing for variety across the year.
Genres rotate from month to month and may include romantic suspense, historical fiction, women’s fiction, romance, speculative fiction, young adult, etc. All stories are thoughtfully selected to be engaging, accessible, and appropriate for general audiences.
Why The Wandering Words?
The goal is twofold: to introduce readers to new voices they may not have encountered otherwise, and to give authors (whether established, indie, or emerging) a chance to connect with new audiences.
With The Wandering Words, the joy of storytelling arrives not through screens or apps, but in a tactile, personal format.
